

Collin G.
Collin is a Houston lifer with a passion for all things H-Town. An undefeated Astros little league team sparked a life-long fandom of the Houston Astros. Watching the Rockets win back-to-back championships as a child became a fabric of his being. The Texans exist. Collin enjoys creating quirky video and image content for Apollo Media and co-hosts the Apollo Hour sometimes-live podcast where he and Dez (and guests) keep the city updated on the latest Houston sports news — with some personal flair baked in for sweetness.

Taylor Pate
Born and raised in Houston, Taylor has begrudgingly loved the Rockets for most of his life. Taylor is a former contributor to FanSided Network’s House of Houston and Salman Ali’s RedNationHoops blog and podcast. For Apollo Media, he is the host of “Rockets Watch Party” and proud owner of the only ORCKETS jersey in existence.

Jakob Happ
Jakob had been born with a medical condition that would send him through a whirlwind of surgeries/checkups for most of his life, but that didn’t stop him. Jakob had moved to Houston in 2011, and quickly became a fan of the Houston Texans, before they had bombed themselves, to which then he found his love for baseball and become an avid Houston Astros fan. Jakob is currently a video editor for Apollo Media, working in the Astros branch.

Tony Adams
Tony is a graphic designer and web developer who’s been a Houston sports fan since the late ’70s. He is the creator of SignStealingScandal.com, a project where he logged all the trash can bangs from the Astros 2017 season. He won the 2021 SABR Contemporary Baseball Analysis Award for his work.

George Martin
Hailing all the way from the United Kingdom, George has been an avid fan of the Houston Astros since the start of the 2000 season. In June 2017 George started the Twitter account @AstrosFansUK providing Astros fans with energetic play-by-play live tweets during ballgames and now hosts the “‘Stros Across The Globe” podcast.

Stone “stoney” Strankman
Back in 2003 Stone was playing Backyard Baseball on his GameBoy and fell in love with Jeff Bagwell. Ever since he’s been an avid fan of the Houston Astros. Stone graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in journalism, while running the Mississippi State Barstool social accounts for 2+ years. Currently he’s the host of Apollo’s college baseball podcast, “Road to Omaha.”

Ben Zeidman
Born and raised in Houston, Ben was born into an Astros household. While the Texans drove him to become a Bills fan, the Astros and Rockets were always his first loves. After playing D3 baseball at Hendrix College, Ben now serves as a lead blog editor and contributor for the baseball side of Apollo while attending law school.

Dex Hinton
Born and raised right here in Houston loving all things Houston sports no matter how much they hate him. A marketing professional by day and a writer/podcast host by night who is talking about Houston sports, Baylor, or movies at all times. Brian Lalima
Brian graduated from THE Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a minor in Journalism where he was also a two-year baseball team captain and an ASC Conference All-Conference outfielder. Prior to joining Apollo Media, LaLima was a Sports Reporter for SportsTalk790 and co-host of Clutch City Sunday. LaLima covered the Astros and Rockets from 2018-2020. Brian is currently a Sports Personality for Apollo, host of The LaLima Lounge Twitch show/podcast and Beyond The Diamond podcast.


Aqib Gazi
Born and raised in Houston, Aqib grew up a die-hard Rockets fan. He fell in love with the sport after watching Stevie Franchise dribble up and down the court. Aqib is currently an Industrial Engineer by profession, but enjoys writing about the Houston Rockets. He’s previously written for USA Today’s Rockets Wire and The Lead SMG.
