“I’m uncomfortably comfy that a rookie is going once again today to change momentum up again.”
Apollo Dez on a random Saturday in April
I sent that to the Apollo Baseball crew around 6 hours before first pitch and damn is Hunter Brown emerging.
In his 3rd start of the season, Hunter Brown has turned into a stopper with back to back starts to halt momentum for the opposing team and gave this team a chance to win a must needed game. Yes, its only April, yes the guys are notoriously slow starters, yes I am not worried, but for the optics of this team yesterday in the whispers of the dark it felt like a semi must win. The Astros are circled on every opposing teams calendar for being the defending champion, for owning the American League, and for something that happened ages ago that is just the cold hard truth. Then you have the Arlington team come in and take game 1 on Friday night, and taste the blood in the water. The problem is when you aim for the king you best not miss, and make sure if you want to be a big dog you better get off the porch.
WHAT A BIG BOY START BY HUNTER BROWN

What a dominant start, but Dusty Baker sending out the rookie for the 7th and 80 plus pitches was such a statement. That is some big boy pitching in a one run game. Hunter Brown is a budding ace and your 2023 Rookie of The Year.
Buy the shirt.
The streets are saying that Dusty Baker continuing to leave Hunter Brown in to learn how to work through trouble is leading to a Rookie Of The Year campaign https://t.co/VneWEcJAd8 https://t.co/JMHqc5fGlE
