Apollo covered the Wurth 400 from Texas Motor Speedway live as Joey Logano claimed victory. Next up, NASCAR returns to the site of one of the best finishes from 2024. Kansas Speedway plays host to the 2025 AdventHealth 400 as NASCAR hopes for a repeat of the photo finish between Chris Buescher and Kyle Larson.
Kansas Speedway feels uniquely suited for the Gen7 car. Will we see another exciting race? Can someone new punch their playoff ticket? Let’s dive in!
2025 AdventHealth 400 Entry List
For the second straight week, Jesse Love makes an appearance in the NASCAR Cup Series. This time, Love will wheel the #33 for RCR come Sunday. With Jesse Love making additional starts in the Cup Series, I believe the prospect will move to Cup full-time in 2026.
Joining Love in the Cup Series this weekend, Corey Heim makes a start for 23XI in the #67 car. Heim continues to prove himself as one of the best drivers in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series week in and week out. Personally, I hope to see more of Heim as I believe, next to Love, he’s one of the best drivers in the developmental ladder right now.
0.001 seconds at the line. Forever in the history books.

It can't get any closer than last year's @kansasspeedway finish. pic.twitter.com/gEUv6z33aF
As mentioned above, Kansas Speedway has produced excellent racing in the NASCAR Gen 7 car. Last year’s finish between Chris Buescher and Kyle Larson came down to the wire. The .001-second victory for Larson ranks as the closest finish of all time in NASCAR. The 1.5-mile circuit provides multiple lanes for passing, and I expect another electric race when the cars hit the track for the 2025 AdventHealth 400.
2025 AdventHealth 400 Race Predictions
Kansas Speedway feels like a great track for a number of drivers. Expect the Hendrick Motorsports cars, led by last year’s race winner Kyle Larson, to run near the front. Another Chevrolet team claimed victory in the fall as Ross Chastain took the checkered flag for Trackhouse.
In the Ford camp, I expect the Penske Cars to prove competitive as Ryan Blaney has run well at 1.5-mile circuits this year, and Joey Logano just claimed victory at Texas. Josh Berry won at Vegas earlier this year in his Penske-allied #21 for Wood Brothers. Berry also put together a great run at Texas before catching the bumps wrong and wrecking from the lead. Of course, Chris Buescher will look to redeem himself for RFK after coming up just short last spring.

In the Toyota camp, I’m looking at both charter 23XI cars, as Tyler Reddick seems to always be quick at Kansas, and Bubba Wallace has won here in the past.
Ultimately, though, I think it’ll be William Byron who makes it to Victory Lane here this Sunday. I’m taking the #24 to win the AdventHealth 400.
