Scott Frost returns to UCF where he previously went undefeated and won the Peach Bowl. Frost was a having a relatively normal media day with his full q/a, which you can watch below.
Then Chris Vannini reported his discussion with Frost which sent College Football fans into a frenzy.
Frost: "I said I wouldn't leave (UCF) unless it was someplace you could win a national championship. I got tugged in a direction to try to help my alma mater and didn't really want to do it. It wasn't a good move. I'm lucky to get back to a place where I was a lot happier."

This total lack of accountability and humility from Frost is shocking. Scott Frost went 16-31 at Nebraska. He never got the Huskers to bowl eligibility in four seasons and was fired three games into year five. Nebraska may not have Oregon, Ohio State, or SEC money but they have resources. They also have a diehard fanbase and athletic department that cares deeply about their football program. He had an opportunity to show some grace and move on, but he chose to be petty.
What adds to this drama are the rumors of Scott Frost being difficult to work with, rude, and even alleged alcoholism. Nebraska alum Erik Strickland has the best response.
