Jake’s Gambling Pit is back because we have football on Saturday! Here are some picks to spice up the appetizer of the College Football season.
UNC vs TCU -7.5 O/U 47.5
The slate opens up with North Carolina taking on TCU in Ireland. Behind the scenes UNC is in dissarray and TCU is usually well coached. I was leaning Frogs but its more likley for the under to hit, with the travel overseas for the first game of the year. The Tar Heels offense was such disaster last year that even if TCU wins big, I don’t expect UNC to score much at all.

NC State at UVA -5.5 O/U 53.5
This matchup was originally set for Rio De Jenerio, but thankfully was moved to on campus. With both quarterbacks having experience and solid offensive line retention, I like the over.

Jacksonville St at North Dakota St -6.5 O/U 46.5
The North Dakota State Bison are hosting Jax State for their first season against FBS competition. The Gamecocks have some new faces to work in, but the Bison should be able to control the trenches. The Fargo Dome will be rocking, and NDSU won’t let Jax State spoil their debut.
