Where were you when The Brandon Bielak night happened? I was fully prepared to title this article The Josh James Experience since we get the entire experience in 3 innings [5 K’s 5 BB] but Brandon Bielak, the rookie from Notre Dame stole the night. In his debut he went 3 1/3 IP 1 ER 4K. Yeah that will do kid. The best thing I saw all night was the smile he gave Stromy on a pitching visit when he got into his first bit of trouble. He was just NAILS.

The offense has been there all Opening weekend as we take the 3 out of 4 games from Seattle and tonight was no different. Bregman got his first homer of the season and the 100th of his career, Altuve got his first one that a cardboard cut out in the Crawford boxes and the speed demon Dustin Garneau got his first career triple. 8 runs on 8 hits. Yeah we can still hit the damn ball.
