Hi, what are you looking for?

Astros

HOUSTON ASTROS ARE THE YOUTUBE SERIES CHAMPIONS

We won a game?

We scored runs at home?

We had good pitching?

Our bullpen didnt blow it?

I woke up thinking I had a fever dream about watching good all around baseball, BUT here we are on Friday afternoon feeling pretty damn good about last night.

Cristian Javier woke up feeling dangerous and pissed off on what I will say is the dumbest decision to send down the kid but whatever. Javier struck out a career high 9 batters last night over 5 innings. Yes, it was another start where the starter couldn’t get past the 5th inning but with what the offense did the game was on cruise control for most of the night.

It was a unique night with the game on Youtube where we had Blummer, Matty V and the Angels color commentary on a joint broadcast. I didn’t hate it all and enjoyed seeing Blummer being highlighted for his excellent work. We are spoiled with our home broadcast yall.

The offense banged out 13 hits and scored 8 runs which had to feel like 800 runs with how things have been going lately. Every starter outside of Yuli logged a hit and with Correa in the leadoff spot followed by Brantley and Bregman the trio went 7 for 14 with 4 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Yeah that will do.

It feels good to play that song again and see some good baseball. It takes one hot week to get back into this and I think we are going to see that happen.

P.S. Shoutout to Dusty getting his 1900 win as a skipper. Padding his resume for Cooperstown.
