I think this week is the biggest week of the year for the Houston Astros.
They have an opportunity in front of them this week to literally double their lead in the American League West and take control going into the last series before the All-Star break. Then you have the Yankees who are limping into town and you have the opportunity to destroy their souls and make them think about this series for over a week. The Astros can go full Bane and break Batman’s back and his body and soul.
The Oakland A’s are coming into this week with an opportunity as well. An opportunity to prove they are still in the AL West. Chris Bassitt who was SNUBBED from the All Star game takes the mound game 1 with a 9-2 record and the Astros counter with STAFF ACE Framber Valdez.
Game 2 the A’s send out Sean Manaea who either carves up the Stros or gets blown up and Luis Garcia the AL ALL STAR IN MY EYES will be going for the Stros.
Game 3 we got Frankie Montas vs. friend of Apollo Lance McCullers Jr.
This series should be hard fought and have a midweek playoff atmosphere.

To end the week of opportunity, the evil empire New York Cry Babies roll into town as a shell of themselves. No more sticky stuff and now all these elite arms can’t throw anymore. You hate to see it.
