Wow, how many times have you seen this video?

Just when you thought the Astros were going to get swept headed to the All-Star exhibition week, Jose Altuve stepped into the plate and did Jose Altuve things. The whole inning was just how resilient this team is and the concept of getting the at-bat to the next guy. Chas with another at-bat where he HUNTED a fastball, Toro with a big boy double, Castro with a little flippy, and then the home run that broke the internet. As Altuve rounded 2nd base, and the Yankee players were walking off the field at MMP once again, I couldn’t help but wonder if Altuve was going to strip naked rounding third but as the consummate professional he had a giggle and a slight helmet toss.

THEN HIS TEAMMATES STRIPPED HIM DOWN AT THE PLATE AND THE PARTY GOT ROWDIER AND CRAZIER AND THE MOMENT FOR THE 2021 CHAMPIONSHIP DVD GOT ITS OPENING SCENE!!

The weekend was really just a DUD. We couldn’t score a damn run, G Cole absolutely SHOVED against us, and then Aaron Judge wanted to chirp, then Gary Sanchez of all people wanted to chirp, and ODOR WANTED TO PUT JACKETS ON EVERYONE?!? That woke up the bad boys of baseball and then well you know what happened.

It is a fuckin shame we won’t get this matchup in October and send New York home as we have for this decade. Oh well.
