Around The Moon – Astros Recap – Winning Cures Everything

When I was a kid, my dad told me something that has stuck with me forever: Winning cures everything, son.

The last few nights have been fun as shit. We finally are seeing the Astros sustain momentum and beat the hell out of teams that are far inferior to them. Our last west coast late-night games of the season, I am enjoying the hell out of it. Winning sure does cure everything.

The Astros offense decided to be efficient as hell last night scoring 10 runs on 10 hits. The offense was backed by the BOOMBAH power from Kyle Tucker, Jose Altuve, Martin Maldonado, and Aledmys Diaz. Jose Urquidy was rolling until he wasn’t. After cruising for 5 innings, his 6th inning was derailed by some pretty damn hard contact. I think he will be a piggyback starter come the playoffs as he continues to get stretched out. He is an X-Factor for this team and this staff.

Here is some bonus Savant data from last night.

Four straight series wins, 8-2 in our last 10, magic number is 4, HEY TAMPA OBJECTS IN YOUR MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.
