Around The Moon Vol. 3

We are back baby! We missed last week’s stream of consciousness due to the Miami Grand Prix.

I remember a couple weeks ago everyone was jumping off the ship and onto lifeboats as if the Astros were the Titanic, well looks like we are the same warship that we have been for the last 7 years. The boys are rolling and have rattled off 10 in a row and are in first place in the AL West.

Pitching, pitching, pitching. The staff up and down have been pitching their dicks off and challenging hitters and man this has been special to watch. The offense has to feel like they just have to go hang a number and they know it will hold.

Yordan, my son, you make your papi proud. He is #2 in the league in BOOMBAHs sitting at 10. 40 seems baked in but can he get to 50?

Jeremy Pena is not a rookie. The dude carries himself like a pro day in and day out. He is special.

Justin Verlander is just a damn robot. His 2nd start this season where he has flirted with a no-hitter. I think he gets one this year and ties Koufax.

The bullpen is just nails. We keep trotting out RNG players in leverage spots and the results are the same. Life is good.

Kyle Tucker might be a 30/30 guy this year.

The Astros offense goes when Jose Altuve is playing. I can’t explain it but when the future Hall of Famer is in the lineup, we win.

1.82 ERA in the last 16 starts? That will do donkey, that will do.
