Where were you when Donovan Mitchell got traded to Cleveland?
The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired Donovan Mitchell in a trade, sources tell ESPN.

In the most Woj fashion of all time, he puts out a Thursday afternoon news BOMB. Woj is reporting that Cleveland is sending three unprotected first round picks and two pick swaps to Utah in exchange for Mitchell.
The Utah jazz have now obtained a total of 10 first round draft picks from trading both Rudy Gobert earlier this summer to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and now Mitchell going to Cleveland.

Chris Haynes reported that Lauri Markkanen, Colin Sexton, and Ochai Agbaji are also included in the trade going to Utah. For a team that was on the cusp of potentially being in the second tier of the Eastern Conference, this trade surely puts them in contention of that.
Danny Ainge finally wipes the slate clean in Utah to do a full rebuild, and the Cavs add a third star to Evan Mobley and Darius Garland. Cleveland is seriously going for it in the east, and it’s quite impressive how well they’ve recovered during the post-LeBron years.
As part of the deal, Colin Sexton will be signing a four-year $72 million contract according to Shams Charania. Utah gets their point guard of the future! All in all, I love this trade for both teams. The Cavs get their new big three settled, and Utah does a full reset, while also getting a point guard that isn’t bad.
