LeBron James did it! At the age of 38, LeBron has done the absolute unthinkable and officially passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all time leading scorer in NBA history. For it to be LeBron, who most people don’t consider a “scorer”, this could be the biggest fuck you in history.

We all saw LeBron walk into Crypto.com Arena, looking like Johnny Cash, as he looked ready to lay Kareem’s record to rest. From that moment, we all knew he was going all in tonight. Kareem showed up for the game ready to pass the torch as well. From LeBron’s wife, Savannah, and his teenage sons, Bronny and Bryce. Dwyane Wade and a plethora of other celebrities were also in attendance so it just felt like tonight would be the night.

Bronny: "Go ahead."
LeBron: "Go ahead and get it? Aight, I'll get it."pic.twitter.com/kFCMEU9L08
Going into the 2nd half, LeBron had already scored 20 points, which put him 16 away from the record. At this point is where we saw LeBron thrive as he always does because he was prepared for the moment. He hit a couple threes to inch him closer and accompanied those with a pair of layups. Soon after, it happened.
