The Dallas Stars might never make a trade

The Dallas Stars are now less than a day away from the NHL trade deadline, and have yet to make a move that might make them Cup Champions.

The Dallas Stars might never make a trade as the trade deadline looms. Stars’ General Manager, Jim Nill, has made a somewhat lateral move earlier in the week dealing Denis Gurianov for Evgenii Dadonov, but as watched the rest of the league play musical chairs with the amount of good teams getting much better.

The teams in the Eastern Conference appear to be all the way in. The Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers and Islanders, among others have made huge deals in order to prepare for their battles in the playoffs.

The Western Conference is there for the taking for whoever wants to grab it. Colorado has made some moves, but nothing too crazy. Edmonton made a great move for Mattias Ekholm, and Vegas just scooped up Stanley Cup Finals and L.A. Kings legend, Jonathan Quick.

Jim Nill is just asleep in his office after making one lateral move, and seems to be content with where the Stars are at. I’ll remind you that Wednesday night’s win against Arizona was just their first regulation win in nearly a month. Things may seem fine, but why not take the bull by the horns and make a big move to try and win the cup.

The NHL trade deadline is Friday 3 p.m. EST, so maybe the Stars finally go all in. The Dallas Stars and Jim Nill might never make a trade.
