After having victory elude him in the early part of 2023, Kyle Larson was finally able to find his way to Victory Lane at Richmond. Now NASCAR is set for one of the most unique challenges of the season at the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol.

Instead of running on the traditional surface, dirt will be placed on the high banks of the 0.5-mile track and the top stock car drivers will attempt to navigate this tough change in style.

The NASCAR Food City Dirt Race saw one of the most memorable finishes of the year when Tyler Reddick and Chase Briscoe collided on the last lap. Both drivers will look to redeem themselves on the dirt surface in 2023. Take a look at the full entry list at the link below:

Entry List

With NASCAR heading to dirt, I tend to favor the drivers that have a bit of a dirt background in spite of the fact that the two previous Bristol Dirt winners do not come from that discipline.

Kyle Larson has to be near the top of the board given his dirt experience and last year’s near winner Tyler Reddick should be expected to compete as well. If you are looking for more of a dark horse selection, Daniel Suarez ran near the front for much of the race in 2022.

Make sure to check out the schedule below so you don’t miss any on track action and keep an eye out for updates as weather may cause havoc in Bristol this weekend.
