Jose Altuve. The Heartbeat of Houston. Yordan Alvarez. Apollo Dez’s son. The Houston Astros lineup is officially entering it’s full death star form just before the trade deadline. It’s official: the boys are back in town!

This season has been a roller coaster for Astros fans, even though the team literally won the World Series last season. Altuve was injured in the World Baseball Classic, and the starting pitching rotation has been in flux since the second week of the season. But, finally, we’re reaching a place of potential normalcy with the Astros lineup starting Wednesday night against the Rangers.
We were all blessed last season when a majority of the injuries that the Astros had didn’t greatly impact the regular season win total or the AL West division race. This season has been quite different. The injuries have piled up while the Texas Rangers spent a billion dollars on an all-star lineup, but alas, the Astros are just one game back.

The MLB Trade Deadline is next week and it looks like the Astros just acquired two all-star/MVP caliber hitters to their lineup without having to give anything up! The time is now to for the Astros to put the Rangers in a chokehold and squeeze the life out of them. It’s official: the boys are back in town.

Our Yordan Savior has returned 🙌
