Last season the Dallas Stars made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals before faltering to the eventual Stanley Cup Champs, the Vegas Golden Knights. It was an incredible season filled with a high flying offense and great goaltending. Unfortunately in the end it didn’t end up with a parade going through downtown Dallas.
Luckily, today is a new day and we have a brand new hockey season on our hands. The Dallas Stars are back on a mission for Lord Stanley as their 2023-2024 campaign gets underway against the St. Louis Blues Thursday night.

I’ve seen many Dallas Stars podcasters and journalists try not to jinx the team as they predicted the team to make the Western Conference Finals and match their achievement from last season. I’ve even seen and heard many national journalists admit that the Dallas Stars may be the team to beat in the Western Conference.
I’m not going out on a limb here by saying that the Dallas Stars should be in the Stanley Cup Finals, but they have a strong ability to win the Stanley Cup Finals. It’s been 25 years since Lord Stanley was hanging out in Dallas, Texas and it’s time to have another parade.

The Dallas Stars are probably the deepest team in the West, and have the potential to add two-three studs from the minor leagues to bolster the lower lines. They have an incredibly strong veteran presence to add to the youth movement they’ve had in recent years. And, oh yeah, they have one of the best goaltenders in the entire league.
This is the year that it all comes together for the squad, I’m sure of it.
Stay tuned for more Dallas Stars content with Apollo Media throughout the season.

You obviously don’t read social media. Don’t worry about a jinx – the all complaining “fans* balance that out 💚
