The Houston Rockets have traded Kevin Porter Jr. and two 2027 and 2028 second-round picks (Via Minnesota and Milwaukee) to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Victor Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. Oklahoma City will also take on the nearly $17 million salary left on Porter Jr.’s deal. We can finally exhale as the Kevin Porter Jr. saga has closed.
Oklahoma City will be waiving Porter Jr. immediately and will have virtually bought two second round picks from the Houston Rockets in the exchange.
It’s finally over. With all of his past off the court issues finally coming to a head this past summer, it’s great to finally have him off the team. We hope all involved can heal and move forward. We can finally exhale as the Kevin Porter Jr. saga has closed.
