After getting their first win of the season last night against the Charlotte Hornets (which was much needed), we finally get to see the Rockets uniforms in full fashion.

Although Rockets point guard Fred Van Vleet gave us a sneak peek on his Instagram story back on October 2nd, the jersey got mixed reviews. Some called it plain and others wondered why we used the wrong shade of blue. I knew eventually the jerseys would grow on the fanbase.
Paying homage to the city and the legendary players that represent Houston, these jerseys are a modern classic dating back to the Phi Slama Jama era. You will even see two Rockets legends Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon and Clyde “The Glide” Drexler with their patent signatures on the uniforms. My favorite part of the whole jersey would have to be the astronaut, or as the Rockets admin would call it The Dunkstronaut, flying high as a representation of the two greats.
The Rockets will debut the new city on November 8th vs LeBron James and the L.A. Lakers. They will wear them for 13 games as well. New jerseys on the block! Rockets unveil their new City jerseys for the 2023-2024 season.
