He is going on a nuclear tear as of late. This is his 7th game with 20 points or more in a row. We are seeing someone blossom in to a STAR.

This game last night felt different. Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson played over 15 minutes each and showed what they can do in bunches. Here’s what coach Ime Udoka had to say about the newfound playing time for them.

What really struck me most about this game was the overall anger Alperen Sengun seemed to play with. Every time he grabbed the ball in the post it seemed like it was a “fuck you, get out of my way” kind of scenario. Not many players let alone centers can do what he just did. I am in shock.

The league is starting to take notice as well. This isn’t some kind of fluke anymore. The man is him. Here is Brooklyn Nets coach Jacque Vaughn with high praise for the young superstar.

I can’t even figure out what else to say about him anymore. Houston needs to cherish this man.
The Rockets will have arguably the toughest three game stretch all season as the squad will be facing Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Miami with all three games being played in four days. Sheesh. This is gonna suck.
Great basketball will be played regardless.
