Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green are the youngest duo to score 30 points and grab 10 rebounds. This is what a near perfect Rockets team looks like.
Let’s get in to it. What We Learned Houston Rockets Edition: Game 46.
Jabari Smith Jr. nailing mid-rangers, Cam Whitmore having 12 points in the first three minutes, FVV simply not needing to shoot the ball. It was beautiful.
this is probably the most exciting game where a player played under 20 minutes

20 points in 17 minutes for Cam Whitmore

The prettiest part of this game was the JG/Al-P connection we have been striving for this entire season. It felt like for one night, every star in the sky aligned for this to happen. Let’s hope these vibes lean in to the rest of the season, please?
What a sequence. Jabari causes a turnover on Wood, then runs down to find a corner 3 from Jalen.

THIS IS ROCKETS BASKETBALL. 🚀 pic.twitter.com/PJxDBjDsQ8
Going up thirty in the second half was glorious, but there was some Brooklyn Nets vibes there at the end when Los Angeles brought it back to ten, seemingly out of nowhere. Thank basketball heaven that the last six or so minutes of execution was the nail in the coffin to truly send LA packing for good. Those Kobe years still leave a mark on Toyota Center no matter how hard I try to forget.
I miss you Aaron Brooks.
This game was not only an important test for a young Rockets team, but more-so a much needed mid-season push for seeding in the standings.
The Rockets passed with flying colors. A+.
Great content from this game as well. Dillon Brooks poking the bear, Darvin Ham being Darvin Ham, I loved it.
Ime Udoka coaching his players…… and then…… there's Darvin Ham lol pic.twitter.com/ELm9au87Nr

Whew.
Rockets win 135-119. This was one of the more fun games of the season.
The boys will try and keep the vibes high from tonight in to the next game, taking on Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. What We Learned Houston Rockets Edition: Game 46.
See y’all then.
