The Mustangs have been the surprise team out of the ACC handling every challenge that has come their way outside of a hard-fought loss to BYU. The “Pony Express” offense has returned to college football, but Clemon’s tough defense can pose a problem for Kevin Jennings and company. I get that Clemson has difficulty scoring but I like for the Tigers to get points early, and then hold SMU the rest of the way.

Penn State vs Oregon -3.5 O/U 49.5
Penn State has a large weakness at Wide Receiver, and are a little banged up in the trenches. Oregon hasn’t shown much weakness at all. Right now, 85% of the spread money is on the Ducks to cover. I love to fade the public, and the Nittany Lions may have the matchup to get this done. Look for Penn State’s defense to get Oregon into third and long so they can pass rush with the great tandem of Abdul Carter and Dani Dennis-Sutton. Offensive Coordinator Andy Kotelnicki will be able to scheme the running backs and star tight end Tyler Warren open to move the football. Nittany Lions cover in a low scoring game. Don’t be afraid to sprinkle some ML.
