After two straight races featuring both left and right turns, NASCAR returns to an oval in the form of Dover Motor Speedway. The 2025 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on the concrete at Dover will challenge the best in the series.
Courtesy of rained-out qualifying, Chase Elliott starts on the pole while Shane Van Gisbergen rolls off 6th. Can SVG do the unthinkable and claim an oval victory, or will another driver claim the checkered flag? Let’s dive into the entry list.
2025 AutoTrader EchoPark 400 Entry List
Of note for this race, the 23XI and Front Row cars are open entries as the lawsuit with NASCAR over the charter system goes on. However, all cars from these teams will be in the race, as Dover will not have a full field of cars.

The lone other open entry joining 23XI and Front Row at Dover is JJ Yeley. Yeley will pilot the #44 Chevy at Dover.
Dover marks one of the more unique tracks on the NASCAR schedule. The high-banked concrete oval challenges drivers. Adding to the challenge, Goodyear elected to bring a new tire compound to the track for this race. No tire test has been held for this compound, meaning the race could get very interesting. Especially with practice and qualifying rained out.
In-Season Challenge Matchups
NASCAR’s first in-season tournament has reached the Final Four. We’ve had some real surprises so far, with Ty Gibbs marking the lone driver left with a single-digit seed. Check out the matchups below.
32 Seed Ty Dillon vs. 12 Seed John Hunter Nemechek
23 Seed Tyler Reddick vs. 6 Seed Ty Gibbs
I’m taking Ty Dillon to continue his Cinderella run and Tyler Reddick to join Dillon in the final.
2025 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 Race Predictions
With the lack of practice and qualifying, the new tire compound, and the already challenging conditions of Dover, I genuinely have no idea who will win this race. Chase Elliott’s starting position ought to benefit him, as I believe passing will be very difficult. Elliott runs well at Dover and finished in the top five here last year.

Denny Hamlin won this race last year and starts in 13th. I expect the #11 to factor into the results of this race as well.
However, for my race winner pick, I’m taking William Byron in the #24. Byron starts in the top ten, and if he can avoid early trouble, I think he’ll be the car to beat.
