Dave Aranda – Hot

It seems like an eternity since Dave Aranda’s second year, when he won the Big 12 and the Sugar Bowl. Four years have passed, and in that span, Baylor has only one winning conference record. Aranda needs to make a serious run for the Big 12, or his time in Waco may be over.
Scott Satterfield – Warming Up

In Satterfield’s third year, he was finally able to lead the Bearcats to a winning record. Each year has been an improvement in Cincinnati, but another losing season is going to really turn up the heat.
Deion Sanders – Getting Warm/Retirement Watch

There is no question that Deion Sanders has helped Colorado. He was able to get more eyeballs on the program that had serious branding issues before he arrived. However, the play on the field hasn’t been great. Yes, 2024 was a good year, but the Buffaloes were carried by LaJohntay Wester, Travis Hunter, and Shadeur Sanders. Last year it was the worst of the 3 years of Coach Prime, and that includes his first season, where the Buffs went 4-8. If Colorado struggles again, matched with Deion’s health concerns, it could push him into retiring.
Rich Rodriguez – Room Temperature

Year one of Rich Rod’s second West Virginia era didn’t go great. They ended the year 4-8, but they did beat Pitt. Mountaineer fans will be giving Rodriguez time, but another losing season is going to warm his seat up.
