The USWNT’s 2023 Women’s World Cup Jerseys Are Awesome

Team USA Kit Reveal

Nike has unveiled the new USWNT Jerseys for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and they RULE. Both the home and away kits for the reigning, defending World Cup Champions are excellent and the details are impeccable. Let’s break both new jerseys down and then take a look at the different buying options. There are a lot.

Home USWNT Jerseys

The home kit features a white jersey with a gorgeous blue paint drip pattern with a mix of royal blue (Nike calls it “Hyper Royal) and navy blue (“Loyal Blue”). The jersey collars and the shorts are both that matching Loyal Blue, making the whole thing work perfectly together.

Both of the new USWNT jerseys feature big gold “FIFA World Champions 2019” patches in the center of the chest but the home kits triple down by adding a golden Nike swoosh on both the jerseys and shorts as well as 4-gold stars above the USA crest representing our 4 previous World Cup wins. It’s STUNNING. A must cop for ya boy.

Away USWNT Jerseys

The away kits, which will also be worn by the Men’s National Team, feature an all over Loyal/Hyper Blue vertical stripe pattern with “patriotic nods to the hidden shapes that are inspired by abstract expressionism art.” I’m not smart enough to know what that means. But the pattern looks really sick. The collars have 2 “Speed Red” blades on them meant to look like the points of stars, and those work for me. The sleeve cuffs have a weird little diagonal star pattern on them in Loyal Blue and Speed Red that don’t work for me but are easy to ignore. The shorts match the jerseys for a unified look. It’s not as beautiful as the Home kits but overall, these USWNT jerseys are the best ones in a long time.

For the details, the road kit swaps out the metallic gold swooshes and championship stars for Speed Red to tie the whole thing together. The USA crest also abandons the white for an allover sport red, which I really like on this jersey.
