Last season I tried to do as many game write ups as I could have of the Dallas Stars. As you can imagine it gets quite tiresome trying to spell out every detail of 82 games, so this season we’re going to do something different. For every game there will be one good thing that I focus on for the blogs.
So without further ado, here’s the first iteration of one good thing: Dallas Stars game 1 of 82.

Overtime had been the Dallas Stars’ kryptonite last season so of course they had to start the season going to overtime and a shootout. The one good thing is that the Dallas Stars‘ won the shootout.
It was the first game of the season so I’m not going to take away too much from how the defense looked or how the lines on the offense looked a bit out of place. Roope Hintz didn’t play, and I didn’t truly notice Ryan Suter on the ice so I’m going to take that as a huge win.

Winning the first game of the season against a division rival is always a good thing. I look forward to many more good things as the season rolls on.
One good thing: Dallas Stars game 1 of 82 and the boys are already 1-0.
