This season I’m going to write one good thing about each and every Dallas Stars game. Last night the Dallas Stars lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in a shootout, but of course there was at least one positive. One good thing: Dallas Stars game 2 of 82 was the physicality that the Stars showed on the ice.

For the first time since 2018 the Dallas Stars had two fights in a single game. The first period was a bit lackluster from both teams as it seemed that they were feeling each other out.
In the second period, Captain Jamie Benn decided to drop the gloves with the biggest guy on Vegas’ team. The captain won the fight and after that the rest of the Stars followed suit on getting some hits on the Golden Knights.

Miro had this incredible backwards hit when collecting the puck in the corner. Then the second fight got underway with Mason Marchment getting another W in the column for fights on the night.

The Dallas Stars ended up collecting a point at the end of the shootout and will face off against the Anaheim Ducks Thursday night. One good thing: Dallas Stars game 2 of 82. Only 80 more to go.
