This season I’m going to write one good thing about each and every Dallas Stars game. A full season of hockey includes an incredible amount of ups and downs, but I’m on a mission to find the one good thing that stands out that the Dallas Stars did each and every game this season.
Tuesday night the NHL decided to have every single team in the league play a game, which was fun, but also stressful if you like to enjoy most of the league as opposed to just one team. The Dallas Stars faced off against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins and pretty much dominated the game after the first period.
The one good thing: Dallas Stars game 5 of 82 was that the Stars won a game in regulation with great 5 on 5 hockey. The Stars scored all four of their goals in 5 on 5 situations and once again didn’t give up a power play goal to start the season 15 for 15 on the PK. That’s insane.

Jason Robertson, Evgenii Dadonov, and Thomas Harley all got in the goal column for the first time this season. The offense looked great even though the power play is still a bit subpar. And I won’t even talk about some of the defensemen.
Nevertheless the Dallas Stars dominated the game from the second period on, and Jake Oettinger has been carrying this team to its 4-0-1 record to begin the 2023-2024 campaign.
