This season I’m going to write one good thing about each and every Dallas Stars game. A full season of hockey includes an incredible amount of ups and downs, but I’m on a mission to find the one good thing that stands out that the Dallas Stars did each and every game this season.
Thursday night in American Airlines Center, the Dallas Stars celebrated Joe Pavelski’s 1,000th career point which he recorded in April. It was a great start to a night where the Stars played against the Toronto Maple Leafs. A matchup that I was quite looking forward to. The one good thing: Dallas Stars game 6 of 82 was pretty much celebrating Joe Pavelski during the pregame.

Dallas got throttled by Toronto Thursday night 4-1 in which the only goal scored by a Stars player was by Mason Marchment. The penalty kill ended up losing their perfect streak of 17-17 to start the season against the Maple Leafs. And during the second period it looked like the Stars should have scored numerous goals, but the Maple Leafs ended up doing that instead.
There wasn’t much good that came from Thursday night other than the Joe Pavelski celebration… So with that we’re onto Columbus as the Blue Jackets come to town for Monday night’s matchup.
The one good thing: Dallas Stars game 6 of 82 was a Joe Pavelski celebration that happened before puck drop. Not ideal.
